Services Engineering Football World Cup 2009
Welcome to the inaugural year for
the
football tournament for Building Services
Engineering & Built Environment professionals.
This exciting competition will be promoted in 40
countries across REHVA/ASHRAE/CIBSE regions and will be
registered with and bound by the rules of the English Football
Association.
The event champions will be awarded the CIBSE
Trophy.
Tournament matches will take place on quality
competition standard grass pitches hosted by the University of
Liverpool and Liverpool FA venues. All games will be 11 aside,
refereeing and coordination will be provided by Liverpool County
FA and Liverpool City Council.
The tournament will support ‘Everyman’ Cancer
Charity. Donating £100.00 from each team registration to
Everyman.
The event draw will be hosted by the Mayor of
Liverpool during the evening of the 17th June, 2009,
followed by a Charity Sports Auction raising funds for
‘Everyman’ Male Cancer Campaign. Entertainment will be provided
by the ‘Ray Bailey Soul Train’.
Teams from all geographic locations are now
invited to register their interest in taking part in this year’s
event.
